Equipment Operator (Non-Certified)/Laborer
Job Description
The Crawford County Area Solid Waste Agency has an immediate opening for an equipment operator (non-certified)/laborer at the Crawford County Transfer Station. This is a full time position that does include weekend work. Paid holidays, IPERS, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime. Health/Dental/Vision available.
Primary duties will include but not limited to – operating a telehandler JCB loader with grapple bucket loading semi trailers with trash or recycling, moving semi tractor/trailers around the property, sorting through trash and recycling, grounds keeping (mowing, trimming trees, etc.), assisting lead operator, some heavy lifting from time to time, and other duties.
