COVID-19 Phase 1B

Crawford County continues to receive very limited amounts of vaccine. Please be patient. Everyone who wants the vaccine will eventually be able to get the vaccine.

Limited amounts of COVID-19 vaccine are available through all the medical clinics in Crawford County for their patients age 65 and older. If you receive your medical care at CCMH Medical Clinic, you can call 265-2700 to schedule an appointment. Denison Family Health Center, St. Anthony Denison and St. Anthony Westside Clinics will call their patients to schedule appointments; please don’t call their offices.

Thrifty White Pharmacy in Denison also has vaccine available for people age 65 and older. A link to schedule an appointment is available below. If the site says there are no appointments available, that means they have all been filled. Please check back frequently.

For the next 3 weeks, Crawford County Public Health will be allocating the majority of the vaccine to our partners listed above so they can concentrate on our 65 and older population. We will keep minimal doses to continue our work with the other populations included in Phase 1B Tier 1. As more vaccine becomes available, Public Health will add additional clinics, including community clinics. All of your local vaccine providers ask for your patience and understanding. We know you are frustrated; we are too. We continue to work together to get the vaccine out as quickly as we can. Our goal is to get the vaccine we receive each week used that week.
