Crawford County has established a program to memorialize bridges on county roads to our fallen heroes.

The order of the bridges are determined in reverse order starting with current conflicts and down. All IOF/OIF, Vietnam and Korean War KIA/MIA have been completed and WWII is currently being worked on.

Approximately three bridges are done per year. The person memorialized is determined by the VA office, and bridges are determined by the County Engineer’s office.

All efforts are made to locate a bridge close to the person’s home or area they were raised/lived.
